THIRU VILAKKU POOJA

 

Thiruvilakku Pooja aims at collectively worshipping Mahalakshmi by a large number of women at a time.

Groups of women, at least 120 per temple from Kumarapalayam, Erode East, Erode West, Modakurichi, Dharapuram and Kangeyam assembly constituencies are participating in this Thiruvilakku Puja conducted by Aatral Foundation.

This is said to bring prosperity to the home and peace to the world. It is mainly done for the well-being of the woman’s family; it brings all auspicious things to each and every member.

This is the first time that Thiruvilakku Puja is being held in our village. It is a great pleasure to participate in this pooja. Thanks to Aatral Ashok Kumar for giving us this opportunity.
